CARDBOARD BOAT CHALLENGE

The cardboard boat challenge is a creative and mentally challenging activity that any number of teams can partake in. The teams are given basic materials and then required to design, construct and race their craft on the water. The craft can be named and creatively decorated. Points are awarded for originality and success on the water.

FULL DAY or HALF DAY

You arrive at the lake (just 5 minutes off the M25) and can optionally have a bacon/ egg roll and croissant breakfast by the lake or in the clubhouse if preferred.

The group is split into teams and the team leaders and team names allocated. A safety brief is given, everyone fitted with safety gear, and then we are straight into the challenges.

COMPANY MEETINGS

The clubhouse offers an ideal location for a half-day company meeting if this is required.

Once complete a short time is given before lunch for swimming, chilling, etc. A BBQ lunch is provided (see typical buffet menu)

THE CHALLENGE

The cardboard boat challenge will encompass all the skills of practical design, teamwork building the boat and some brave souls to venture onto the water. The teams are given a supply of cardboard and tape and decorative materials. Teams are given a set of basic principles for the design of their boat. A team leader is chosen who will then allocate team roles for design, build and creative aspects of the challenge. The main base for this event is at a woodland lake near Windsor in Berkshire and just 40 minutes from London on the train. The event can also be run at other locations as required. The CARDBOARD BOAT CHALLENGE can be run as a half-day event or as a whole day, along with other water or land-based activities.

We have a film production company that can be called upon to take stills and/or videos of your day

Any level of catering can be provided.
