Once complete a short time is given before lunch for swimming, chilling, etc. A BBQ lunch is provided (see typical BBQ menu)
History
Dragon Boats enjoy a history of some 2000 years, based on an ancient Chinese tradition. Dragon Boat racing was established in 1976 in Hong Kong, and in 1982 crews from Western Europe, Australia and America were invited to take part. There are now almost 50 countries actively involved across five continents. In Britain, Dragon Boat racing has become one of the fastest growing corporate sports, with many charities organising races between companies
Each Dragon Boat is about 40 feet long, and is decorated with a dragon's head and tail. Crews of up to 18 people paddle, with a helmsman to steer and a drummer to keep the rhythm.
Options
This event can be combined with a half day raft building or team building games. Lunch can be provided.

River Thames or local lakes situated just off the M25 near Egham.
